As Representative, she has kept her word to bring fiscal discipline to the state budget - successfully fighting government over-spending, stopping tax increases in their tracks, and reinvesting in the state’s Rainy Day Fund.
Milou also supports policies that safely harness PA's energy resources – including clean energy - to help reduce costs for consumers, create jobs, and make our state more energy independent. She views this as a priority for today.

As Representative, she voted for bipartisan legislation to reduce our state’s highest-in-the-nation Corporate Net Income Tax to make PA more competitive in keeping and attracting employers. She is supporting initiatives to cut over-regulation and make our regulatory system fair and predictable.
Milou also supports smart education reforms that better prepare all our kids for the working world - including promoting career and technical education and matching employers with the skilled students who are eager to embark on interesting careers. And she also is encouraging college bound students to reach their highest potential. She wants all the workers of tomorrow to be getting well-educated today.

And being very concerned for the safety and well-being of teachers, staff, and students in our schools, Milou has supported important school safety grants that help local schools implement district-specific safety plans.

Milou knows we all want to be safe in our homes and neighborhoods - and that making sure that happens is one of the primary duties of government. Her work at protecting families has earned her the endorsement of both the Le-Hampton Lodge 35 and Montgomery County Lodge 14 Fraternal Orders of Police.

As Representative, she increased funding for state police to ensure they have the officers, tools, and training to do their jobs. She has also supported local law enforcement and our emergency responders with important grants as they work to protect our neighborhoods and serve our families.
Milou is also standing strong against the radical politicians who want to defund our police or would put the interests of criminals above the interests of the public – including supporting the bipartisan effort to ensure District Attorney Larry Krasner follows the law he swore to uphold.
She continues to address the opioid epidemic by focusing on treatment for those trapped in addiction and tough penalties for those who deal drugs
